This is a lovely restored farmhouse surrounded by fields in a tranquil and sunny position with private garden of approx. 2.000 sq. m.
It is located in the countryside with a lovely view of the Marche rolling hills, midway between the mountains to the west and the Adriatic sea to the east.
The house was carefully rebuilt from scratch in 2008, combining the traditional materials and features of old farmhouses (like exposed wooden beams and exposed stone walls) with modern comforts.
Access is from a paved road, very easy to drive through and always well maintained by the local municipality. From the electric gate, you access the property, with ample parking for cars.
The farmhouse is set out on 3 floors for a total floor area of approx. 230 sq. m.
The arched front door leads directly into the spacious and bright drawing room. From here, you get into the large kitchen with dining area, then to the guest bathroom.
A large staircase leads up to the first floor, where the sleeping area is arranged with a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom.
The peculiarity of this floor is that they have removed the attic above, as to create a double height and show the wooden beams as well as the cotto tiles on the ceiling.
This floor is arranged partly as a garage for 2 cars and partly as a big room, which may be used as a storage, as a hobby room or a space to organize big parties with friends.
Water is conveniently connected to the mains; heating is underfloor, in order to guarantee maximum comfort.
The house was rebuilt with all the modern building criteria: the roof is insulated and ventilated, there are mosquito nets on all windows, air conditioning in the living room and predispositions in all bedrooms.
The house is also equipped with a video intercom and an alarm system.
The garden measures about 2.000 sq.m. and is mainly flat, meaning that it’s completely enjoyable and it’s easy to build a swimming pool.
There is an irrigation system and arrangements for external lights have been made, in order to create an evening atmosphere.
The large porch will allow you to enjoy al-fresco dinners in the hot Italian summers.
San Severino Marche is a town set in the rolling wooded hills of the Marches region, on the so-called Black Mountain. As you arrive you can see the castle and the ancient seat of the medieval town dominating the hilltop. The historic centre of San Severino has remained almost untouched, thus very charming and pleasant to explore with several monuments and buildings of particular interest.
The territory that San Severino covers is very extensive and includes many hamlets, each with its agglomeration of houses and often a church, a tower or a castle. The most popular ones at the moment are certainly Elcito and Pitino, recently rediscovered, restored and brought back to life.
San Severino Marche is 30 min. from the closest mountain paths, where you can go hiking or biking, and it’s just 30 min. from Canfaito, probably one of the most beautiful beechwood in Europe. At the same time, reaching the nice and lively beaches of Civitanova Marche, is a matter of just 40 min.
